Françoise bags are mainly manufactured of cowhide leather, which has been finished off with a protective spray to give it an extra durable effect.

However, not all leathers are finished off in the same way; some manufacturers just want to create a vintage look. Which means that the colour changes in use, the leather can get stained, the leather can get damaged, etc.

Leather needs maintenance and care, but nevertheless, in time, you may decide you want to give your leather object a new life.
